Come support the boys, and have a great time doing it! Tickets available here.
Taking place on Family Day, Feb 19, Winterfest at historic Fort Calgary is an amazing day to spend with the kids! For the cost of admission, the whole family will get to experience stories told by a Blackfoot knowledge keeper in a tipi, a showing of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day at 2:00 PM (comes with popcorn and confections), games and crafts, trying on a mountie uniform, live music, admission to the museum, educational activities, and BEST OF ALL, cabane à sucre AKA that French-Canadian practice of pouring hot maple syrup on snow to make a truly Canadian treat! It’s a wholesome way to spend the day, and it’s going to be lots of fun. Details here.
Looking for more fun? For the first time, Winterfest is offering an interactive character brunch, where you get to eat a traditional Canadian breakfast with actors playing the pioneers of Fort Calgary! Full menu and admission rates here.
While you’re here, stay at the Best Western Premier Freeport Inn & Suites Calgary for a truly legendary trip!
